Previous tradename used by the merchant Henry Schuermans located in Liege, Belgium. In 1890, Henry Schuermans registered the bow and arrow trademark, with the letters "PAFF", found on the airgun discussed here. Schuermans was the producer and/or distributor for the Paff air rifle patented by L. Poilvache of Leige under Belgian patents– number 76743 (March 1887), 79663 (November, 1887), and 84461 (December, 1888). Ref: John Atkins, AG, Feb. 2003.
