Previous tradename of Valmet Oy located in Jyväskylä, Finland. Manufacture of Valmet firearms was replaced by Tikka circa 1989. Former governmental engineering works, later famous for fine sporting and military firearms, such as the Model 58 Kalashnikov assault rifle. Merged with Sako in 1987 to become Sako-Valmet.
