The authors and publisher wish to thank Mr. Ulrich Eichstädt for the following information in this section of the Blue Book of Airguns. The world-wide success of Weihrauch airguns is still based on the motto which the company has used for over a century: "Quality - Made in Germany." International gun expert John Walter noted that "Weihrauch is rightly regarded as one of the last bastions of traditional airgun smithing." It is interesting and instructive to compare the details of their airgun design and quality with any other sporting airguns. Note that guns stamped with an "F" in a pentagon are low velocity versions intended for the German and other markets with strict power limits. Without that mark the guns generally are designed for the English market with its 12 ft./lb. limit for air rifles and 6 ft./lb. limit for air pistols.
Beeman/Weihrauch guns: For those special models and versions of Beeman brand airguns made by Weihrauch, see the Beeman Precision Airguns in the "B" section.
