GAUCHER
Current manufacturer established in 1834, and located in St. Etienne, France. No current U.S. importation. Previously imported and distributed by Mandall Shooting Supplies located in Scottsdale, AZ. Gaucher merged with Bretton in 2000, and the new company name is Bretton-Gaucher (see Trademark Index).
During 1997, Gaucher released four shooting rifles with unique sound suppression (approx. 71 dB) in 9mm Para., 12mm cal., or .410 bore. Additionally, Gaucher manufactures rifles (O/U and SxS double, bolt action rimfire, and semi-auto rimfire), shotguns (SxS, single shot), and 22 LR cal. target pistols. To date, there has been little importation of Gaucher firearms.
