TURNER RICHARDS GUNMAKERS
Previous gunmaker located in Bromsgrove, U.K.
Robert Turner grew up in Birmingham and was trained by Westley Richards craftsmen while still a teenager. While only a handful of long guns have been manufactured under his own name, his craftsmanship can be found in guns bearing some of Britain's best names, including Boss & Co., Churchill, Atkin, Grant & Lang, Dickson & MacNaughton, William Evans, Holland & Holland, P.V. Nelson, William Powell, and Westley Richards.
While Turner no longer makes guns for the gun trade, he is currently one of the fifteen elected Guardians of the Birmingham Proof House.
It is highly recommended that an expert individual appraisal be done on any Turner long gun in order to determine current value before buying or selling.
