ROPER

Sylvester Roper manufactured revolving rifles and shotguns in Amherst, MA beginning circa 1866 under the name Roper Repeating Rifle Company. Production was later moved to Hartford, CT circa 1869, and the company name was changed to Roper Sporting Arms Company.
