BLASER

Currently manufactured by Blaser Jagdwaffen GmbH in Isny im Allgäu, Germany. Currently imported and distributed beginning late 2006 by Blaser Group (formerly known as Blaser USA), located in San Antonio, TX. Previously located in Stevensville, MD. Previously imported and distributed 2002-2006 by SIG Arms located in Exeter, NH, and circa 1988-2002 by Autumn Sales Inc. located in Fort Worth, TX. In January 2020, Blaser USA became Blaser Group. This name change transition was done to establish consistent branding around the world.
The Blaser Company was founded in 1963 by Horst Blaser. In 1986, the company was taken over by Gerhard Blenk. During 1997, the company was sold to SIG. In late 2000, SIG Arms AG, the firearms portion of SIG, was purchased by two Germans, Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier, who have a background in textiles. Today the Lüke & Ortmeier group (L&O Group) includes independently operational companies such as Blaser Jadgwaffen GmbH, Mauser Jagdwaffen GmbH, J.P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH, SIG-Sauer Inc., SIG-Sauer GmbH and SAN Swiss Arms AG.
Blaser currently makes approximately 20,000 rifles and shotguns annually, with most being sold in Europe.
