Previous trademark established in 2010. While the company secured a manufacturing facility located in Glenrock, WY, only a few prototypes were manufactured. Merwin Hulbert & Co. was a division of Sharps Rifle Co. located in Chamberlain, SD.
While Merwin Hulbert & Co. planned to begin the manufacture of the Merwin Hulbert revolvers based on the original specifications during 2010, only a few prototypes were produced. They included the 1878 Pocket Army, 1879 New Army, 1882 Pocket Army, and the 1883 New Army. During 2013, the Broadsword Group acquired the assets of Sharps Rifle Co. which also included Merwin Hulbert & Co.
