The Brno Models 21 and 22 were available in 4 different variations: short barrel/short stock, short barrel/full length stock, long barrel/short stock, long barrel/full length stock. The left receiver rail on these models is marked "ZBROJOVKA BRNO, NARODNI PODNIK". Examples with dovetailed (post-1949) receivers and later ZG 47-type bolts have been observed. Collectors sometimes classify these (unofficially) as "transition models."
