Early specimens of this model are marked "BRNO MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA". This model is generally regarded as being one of the finest rifles that Brno has manufactured. Circa 1961-1966, Parker-Hale Limited, of Birmingham, England, built some Hussar and International model rifles on Brno Model ZG-47 actions. Calibers were .243, .270, .308, .30-06 and .308 Norma Mag. As no Brno/Czech markings appear on these guns, collectors should look for the integral scope mount dovetails on the receiver. Internationals were advertised in the 1963 Gun Digest for $149.95. The Magnum was an additional $10.
