SMITH & WESSON K-32 HAND EJECTOR (POST WAR) K-32 MASTERPIECE "PRE-MODEL 16" Description
.32 S&W Long cal., double action revolver built on the square butt K target 5 screw frame, short cocking action, anti-backlash trigger, 6 groove tangs and serrated trigger, 1/8 or 1/10 in. Patridge front sights were cataloged, micrometer click rear sight, narrow ribbed 6 in. barrel, checkered walnut stocks with S&W monograms, large S&W trademark on sideplate, 38.5 oz. Mfg. circa 1946-1957, then continued as the Model 16.
A scarce gun, with serial number ranges hard to pin down. Known serial numbers include: all of K-58921 through K-58970 and K-67601 through K-67670, ranges in K-68470 to K-68530and ranges in K-767574 to K-767599. All have the narrow rib. In 1950, the wide rib was introduced, and some K-32s from 1956 will be found in the K-271792 to K-271836 serial number range. Additional known serial number ranges listed under Model 16.
