MARK VI/.22 Description
.22 RF cal., round barrel, with similar weight and dimensions to Mark VI Service, two variants, one with a shortened cylinder, and the other with a stepped cylinder, a few commercial examples are found with serial numbers above 450,000.
Produced by Webley and initially offered to the British army as an inexpensive alternative to the .455 cal. revolver for pistol practice between WWI and WWII. Never adopted, a few commercial examples are found with serial numbers above 450,000. A rare revolver in this country.
