WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL.” The left side of the receiver is engraved around the perimeter with stars, with a large star between “1845-1970.” The right side of the barrel is engraved and gold filled with “LONE STAR COMMEMORATIVE”. The right side of the receiver is engraved around the perimeter with stars. The bottom of the receiver is stamped with the serial number, top tang is stamped “UNDER SIX FLAGS”.
