Nighthawk Custom is honored to build a special limited edition 1911 to commemorate Federal Ammunition’s 100th anniversary. Federal is a manufacturer and innovator of the highest quality ammunition for more than a century now, and these commemorative pistols are a testament to the quality Federal has maintained. A limited run of 100 pistols were custom designed and hand built by Nighthawk Custom in collaboration with Federal. Each of these magnificent pistols features Federal’s laser engraving and “1922-2022” dates, and custom machine engraving to celebrate this historic milestone in Federal’s incredible legacy.

This 1911 pistol is built on a government frame, each pistol features a 5” match grade barrel and comes chambered in .45 ACP. The entire pistol has been given a DLC finish that will stand the test of time. The flats of the pistol have been polished for unmatched beauty while rear cocking serrations provide ample grip for racking the slide. The match grade barrel has been cut flush with the slide and crowned. An 18k gold bead front sight is paired with a Heinie SlantPro Black rear sight for quick target acquisition. The front strap and mainspring housing have each received 25 LPI checkering for a secure purchase on the pistol. Double diamond walnut grips provide a classic look that is sure to impress. Each pistol comes with a custom engraved walnut display box to top off this immaculate piece of history. Each pistol contains a Federal challenge coin, and two 8-round .45 ACP magazines.
