In late 2000, SIG Arms AG, the firearms portion of SIG, was purchased by two Germans named Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier (L&O Group), who have a background in textiles. Headquarters for L&O are in Emsdetten, Switzerland. Today the Lüke & Ortmeier group includes independently operational companies such as Blaser Jadgwaffen GmbH, Mauser Jagdwaffen GmbH, John Rigby, J.P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH, SIG-Sauer Inc., SIG-Sauer GmbH and SAN Swiss Arms AG. Please refer to individual listings.
On Oct. 1, 2007, SIG Arms changed its corporate name to SIG SAUER.
In 2021, Sig Sauer added their SIG Custom Works Concierge Service to help customers build their own custom P320 pistol and have it shipped directly from the factory to their FFL. Please contact the company directly for more information.
