.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. stainless bull barrel, walnut thumbrest grips. Known SN range 214-28xxx to 214-32009. Over 3,000 mfg. in 1988 for Outdoor Sports (OH). Factory verification as "KMK-512P" necessary for designation of this limited production model.

MARK II MK8 (RUGER MODEL 0136)

.22 LR cal., 8 in. blue barrel with "GREAT EIGHT" rollmarked in large block letters on right side, brown laminate thumbrest grips. Known SN range of 224-14099 to 224-80539. A total of 912 shipped from 2000-2001 to Davidson's (AZ).

MARK II MK4BL (RUGER MODEL 0138)

.22 LR cal., 4 in. blue bull barrel, gold anodized trigger, thick smooth rosewood laminated grip panels with red background, silver eagle medallions in both grip panels and magazines. Known SN range of 223-76500 to 223-89198. A total of 2,457 shipped from 2000-2003 to Lipsey's (LA).

MARK II MK512S (RUGER MODEL 0146)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. blue bull barrel, stainless steel grip frame and bolt. Known SN range of 215-25830 to 215-43499. Approx. 2,000 produced in 1989 for Outdoor Sports (OH). This was a rare and popular model.

MSR was listed at $290.50.

MARK II KMK678GCNRSB and KMK678GCABN (RUGER MODEL 0147)

.22 LR cal., shipped with no rings or scope base (KMK678GCNRSB) or with plastic grips and without rings (KMK678GCABN). Known SN 218-33375 (KMK678GCNRSS). A total of 3,492 models were shipped in 1994 and in 1998 to ABN Sports (OH) as a less expensive model.

MARK II KMK512GCUS (RUGER MODEL 0165)

.22 LR cal., 6 in. tapered blue barrel with matte finish, red plastic Ruger style case with gray eggshell-type foam. Known serial numbers are 219-03787 and 219-04309. Unknown quantity produced in 1992 for Western Hoegee. Only two examples are known. Extremely rare.

MARK II KMK512GCUS (RUGER MODEL 0168)

.22 LR cal., Special Distributor USA Shooting Team model, gold anodized trigger, TruGlo-type green fiber optic front sight, shipped with Weaver style scope base mount (scope rings not included), black laminate checkered Target grips with thumbrest on left panel, features gold-plated bolt ears with USA Shooting Team logo and the words "VICTORY IN ATHENS" embossed on rear of bolt, shipped in special teal blue plastic case with lens label. Known SN range USA00001 to USA02599. Distributed by the TALO group in 2004 to raise funds for the US Olympic Shooting Team. At least 2,599 produced in 2004 for Talo group of Ruger distributors - Camfour (MA), L.M. Burney (TX), Davidson's (AZ), Hill Country (TX), Bill Hick's (MN), V.F. Grace (AK), and Lipsey's (LA).

MARK II MKA-NRA (RUGER MODEL 0169)

.22 LR cal., 4 3/4 in. tapered barrel with blue finish, features a crest rollmarked on top of the chamber that is similar to Ruger's 50th Anniversary trademark, but with the words "RUGER NRA WILLIAM B. RUGER ENDOWMENT 1916 2002", William B. Ruger signature is rollmarked on top of the receiver near the ejection port, additional Ruger eagle logo is rollmarked on rear of bolt. Known SN range NRA-00000 to NRA-21916. Sold exclusively through Davidson's.

MARK II KMK514 (RUGER MODEL 0172)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/4 in. tapered stainless steel barrel (regular production), Desert Camo thumbrest grips. Known SN range 216-42251 to 216-43645. About 1,500 produced for Outdoor Sports (OH) in 1990.

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. slabside blue barrel with rings and scope base. Known SN range 221-45960 to 221-45972 and 221-47971 to 221-52577. Total of 1,449 shipped in 1995 to Davidson's (AZ).

MARK II MK512GC-NRSB (RUGER MODEL 0177)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. blue slabside barrel without rings or scope base. Known SN range 221-48042 to 221-49429. Total of 1,000 shipped in 1995 to Davidson's (AZ).

MARK II MK678GC (RUGER MODEL 0178)

.22 LR cal., Blue Government Competition, 6 7/8 in. slabside barrel. Known SN range of 218-62413 to 218-69307 - total of 991 shipped in 1996 to Go Sportsmen (MN). 739 shipped from 2002-2003 to Big Rock Sports distributors - Henry's (NC), CSI (MN), and MT Sports (MT) in known SN range 225-05005 to 225-05067. A total of 1,730 were produced from 1996-2003.

MARK II MK-512GCL (RUGER MODEL 0179)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. blue slabside barrel, gold anodized trigger, drilled and tapped for scope mounts (although rings were not provided with this model), smooth rosewood grips. Known SN range and additional SN's 225-51934 to 225-7216x, 225-72126 and 225-79713. Total of 1,042 produced for Lipsey's in 2003.

MARK II KMK678GCL (RUGER MODEL 0187)

.22 LR cal., stainless Government Competition model, 6 7/8 in. tapered barrel, gold anodized trigger, smooth thick rosewood laminated grips with red background, silver eagle medallions in both grip panels and magazines. Known SN range of 223-94520 to 224-00527. Total of 504 or 505 produced in 2000 for Lipsey's (LA).

MARK II KMK-512GC (RUGER MODEL 0188)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. stainless steel slabside bull barrel, drilled and tapped with scope base, black laminate grips. Known SN range of 225-04379 to 225-31716 and 226-16803. Total of 894 shipped from 2002-2003 to Big Rock Sports - Henry's (NC), CSI (MN), and MT Sports (MT) in addition to an unknown quantity of pistols that are believed to be "cleanup" examples of the model (known SN 226-16803).

.22 LR cal., 4 in. stainless steel bull barrel, gold anodized trigger, smooth rosewood grips. Known SN range of 225-77199 to 225-89529. Total of 1,002 produced in 2003 for Lipsey's (LA).

MARK II MK512CA (RUGER MODEL 0199)

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. blue bull barrel, drilled and tapped for scope base (comes with scope base and rings), dark colored smooth laminate grips with red background medallion. Known SN range of 225-46986 to 225-57466. Total of 302 produced in 2003 for Camfour (MA).

MARK II 22/45 P512G SPECIAL DISTRIBUTOR MODEL

.22 LR cal., 5 1/2 in. blued bull barrel, blued steel barrel and bolt, drilled and tapped stainless receiver. Known SN range of 226-15471 to 226-16781. Estimated 2,000 produced in 2004. Distributor unknown.

MARK II 22/45 KP4B (RUGER MODEL 0167)

.22 LR cal., 4 in. stainless steel bull barrel. Known SN range of 220-89655 to 220-89929 and 222-23079. Total of 3,380 shipped from 1998-2000 to Lipsey's (LA) and an additional 2,878 shipped in 2002 to all distributors for a total of 6,258 produced.

MARK II 22/45 KP678GC (RUGER MODEL 0195)

.22 LR cal., 6 7/8 in. stainless steel slabside barrel. Known SN range of 220-59139 to 220-59147. Total of 511 shipped in 1995 to L.M. Burney (TX). Rare.

MARK II 22/45 P678GC (RUGER MODEL 0196)

.22 LR cal., 6 7/8 in. blue slabside barrel. Known SN range of 220-81088 to 226-16902. Many thousands made for Davidson's from 1996-2004, which includes 525 pistols with 220-prefix, 424 pistols with 218-prefix (SN example 218-78570), and the balance with 222- and higher prefix SN.

MARK II 22/45 P8GC (RUGER MODEL 0197)

.22 LR cal., 8 in. blue slabside barrel, rollmarked with "Great Eight". Known SN range of 224-26303 to 226-11466. Several thousand believed to have been produced from 2000-2002 and 2004 for Davidson's (AZ).
