BULLARD REPEATING ARMS COMPANY

Previous manufacturer located in Springfield, MA, circa 1882-1891.
Designed by prolific inventor James Bullard, the design, quality, and workmanship of Bullard rifles rivaled those of any competitor during the 1880s. Bullard made two basic rifles: a lever action repeater and a single shot. The repeater was made in two frame styles: large and small. The single shot was also made in two basic styles; solid frame and detachable-interchangeable barrel model. Total production is estimated at 2,800 rifles.
