Rocky Mountain Arms was a quality specialty manufacturer of rifles and pistols. All firearms were finished in a DuPont Teflon-S industrial coating called "Bear Coat".

.40 S&W or .45 ACP cal., specifically designed for left-handed shooters, featuring left side ejection port and right side controls, gold cup size, stainless steel construction, hand fitted parts, Match barrel, adj. Novak style night sights (mfg. 2015-17), integral ramp barrel, Millett adj. sights, includes test target, case, and five magazines. Mfg. 1991-93, reintroduced circa 2014-17.
.45 ACP cal., hand tuned AMT Backup pistol, black DuPont Teflon-S finish, Tritium front night sight. Mfg. 1995-97.
.22 LR cal., AR style pistol, blowback action, 7 in. barrel, choice of matte black or NATO Green Teflon-S finish, will use Colt conversion kit, choice of carrying handle or flat-top upper receiver, 10 or 30 shot mag., includes black nylon case. Mfg. 1993 only.
.223 Rem. cal., AR-15 style, GIO, 7 in. match barrel with integral Max Dynamic muzzle brake, available with either carrying handle upper receiver and fixed sights or flat-top receiver with Weaver style bases, fluted upper receiver became an option in 1994, accepts standard AR-15 mags., 21 in. OAL, 5 lbs. Mfg. 1993-94 (per C/B), reintroduced 2005-2017.
7.62x39mm cal., floating 7 in. barrel, 5 shot mag., includes carrying handle upper receiver with fixed sights, red finish only, 5 lbs. Very limited mfg. was pre-ban 1994 only.
