ACCLES & SHELVOKE LTD.
Accles & Shelvoke originally produced humane cattle killers patented by James Accles and Charles Cash. Before WWII, the firm manufactured the Warrior, an air pistol developed and patented by Frank Clarke and Edwin Anson. They may have also produced the prototypes of the Titan air pistols for Frank Clarke. After WWII, the company produced the Acvoke air pistol, designed by John Arrowsmith. They were still recorded as making humane cattle killers in 2005. Air pistols were produced from 1931 to 1956.
