First known to American airgunners after WWII via the Baikal IZh 22, a typical Russian simple, but fairly sturdy, break barrel .22 cal. air rifle. Baikal also manufactures many models which are not currently available in the American marketplace.
Current trademark of products manufactured by the Russian State Unitary Plant "Izhevsky Mekhanichesky Zavod" (SUP IMZ) located in Russia.
