Theo Hegmans is a German who can only be described as a craftsman genius - although he is a graduate economist and computer specialist, he retreats to an old-fashioned shop in his barn to make too many things to describe, but all wonderful. These creations include the most unusual firearms and astonishing airguns. His inventions include a version of the old large bore German airguns, or Windbüchsen. This Windbüchse is most unusual in that it uses a percussion cap to open the air valve to a charge of stored air and push a 200-grain, .45 caliber lead bullet out at great velocity. Ref: VISIER, March 2005. Some of his unique airguns (all not for sale!) were designed to shoot with arrows, high powered by a PCP tank with around 90 Joules - and this more than a decade before other manufacturers used this technique successfully!
Current craftsman located in Kerken, Germany.
