MARLIN

On Nov. 10th, 2000, Marlin Firearms Company purchased H&R 1871, Inc. This includes the brand names Harrington & Richardson, New England Firearms, and Wesson & Harrington.
During 2005, Marlin Firearms Company once again started manufacturing an L.C. Smith line of both SxS and O/U shotguns.
In late Jan. of 2008, Remington acquired the Marlin Firearms Company, including the H&R, New England Firearms (NEF), and L.C. Smith brands, and plans to continue with production of these trademarks.
Marlin Firearms Company had been a family-owned and operated business from 1921 until 2007.
Beginning 2010, Marlin licensed Crosman to use the Marlin Trademark.

Current trademark with headquarters located in Madison, NC beginning 2010. Currently manufactured by Remington in Ilion, NY beginning early 2011. Previous manufacturer located in North Haven, CT (1969-2010), and in New Haven, CT (1870-1969). The Marlin company manufactured firearms between 1870-2010.
