PAFF

In 1890, Henry Schuermans registered the bow and arrow trademark with the letters "PAFF", found on the airgun discussed here. Schuermans was the producer and/or distributor for the Paff air rifle patented by L. Poilvache of Leige under Belgian patents – number 76743 (March 1887), 79663 (November, 1887), and 84461 (December, 1888). Ref: John Atkins, AG, Feb. 2003.
