BALL, R. & COMPANY

One of six manufacturers of Charles H. Ballard's patented firearm designs circa 1865-1866. During late 1866-early 1867, R. Ball & Company ceased manufacture and the assets were sold to Edward Bray, who formed the Merrimack Arms and Manufacturing Company.
Located in Worcester, MA, 1865-early 1867. Warren Williams of Ball & Williams retired in July of 1865, and the firm was reorganized under R. Ball & Company.
