Robert Liddle and Charles Kaeding were dealers of derringers and tip-up rifles that were manufactured by others. Prior to 1866, Liddle's businesses were: Robert Liddle, Baltimore, MD 1842-1855, San Francisco, CA 1856-1858, and Liddle & Co., San Francisco, CA 1859-1866, and as Liddle Gun Co. 1889-1898.
