(formerly know as Doug Turnbull Restoration and Turnbull Manufacturing), specializes in the restoration of Colt 1911s, early Colt semi-auto pistols, Colt SAAs, USFA SAAs, shotguns from makers A.H. Fox, L.C. Smith, Parker Brothers and lever action rifles from Winchester, Browning, Marlin, and others. In addition to full, historically-accurate restorations Turnbull Restoration also offers services including upgrades and antique finishes that replicate natural aging and patina.
Current firearms restoration and manufacturing company established in 1990, located in Bloomfield, NY, specializes in the faithful and accurate restorations of period firearms from initial polishing to final finishing. These finishes include period correct bone charcoal color case hardening, charcoal bluing, rust bluing, and Nitre bluing.
