.22 LR cal., micrometer rear sight, 6 shot, 6 in. barrel, improved I and J-frame, target grips on square butt frame, M serial prefix starts 1969. Mfg. 1953-1973.
.38 S&W Spl. cal., similar in appearance to the Model 66, except is in .38 Spl. cal., 6 in. barrel, approx. 7,500 mfg.
