MODEL 72 CRACKSHOT Description

.22 LR cal., single shot falling block action, 22 in. octagon barrel with blue finish, open sights, color case hardened frame, straight stock, serial number noted with "B" prefix. Mfg. 1972-1989.

Some later manufactured Model 72 Crackshots have been noted to have black parkerized barrel and receiver finish, bronze-colored lever, and a squirrel on a branch engraved on both sides of the receiver. These were indicated by serial numbers with an "E" prefix.
