During 1999, Firearms International, Inc. obtained permission to use older High Standard model nomenclature (Crusader & Supermatic Trophy) for use with their M1911 pistols. Previously manufactured pistols are marked "Firearms International Inc." on the frame and "High Standard" on the slide.
Sharpshooter .45 ACP to .22 LR cal. conversion units were also available, fixed sight model retails for $280, adj. rear sight model retails for $340.

MODEL 1911 CRUSADER (CUSTOM SERIES)
38 Super (mfg. 2002-2005, Tu-tone finish only, reintroduced 2011-disc.) or .45 ACP cal., 5 in. barrel, 7 (disc.) or 9 (.38 Super cal. only) shot mag., many shooting enhancements are standard, stainless steel (disc.), blue, or Tu-tone (mfg. 2001-2005) finish, adj. sights, 40 oz. Mfg. 2000-2005, reintroduced 2007-2018.
Add $50 for stainless steel.

Model 1911 Crusader Combat
similar to M-1911 Crusader, except has 4 1/4 (disc.) or 4 1/2 (new 2007) in. barrel and choice of fixed or adj. (disc. 2000) sights, 38 oz. Mfg. 2000-2005, reintroduced 2007-disc.

Model 1911 Crusader Compact
4 in. barrel, similar to Crusader Combat, except has shorter grip frame, 6 shot mag., 36 oz. Limited mfg. 2000 only.

STR-5S SUPERMATIC TROPHY MATCH (MATCH MODEL)
similar to M-1911 Crusader, except has NM 5 or 6 in. barrel with bushing, polished feed ramp and throated barrel, lowered/flared ejection port, 40 oz. Mfg. 2000-2008.
Subtract approx. 10% for blue finish (disc. 2001).
Subtract approx. 15% if w/o sights and no finish (disc.).
Add $300 for 6 in. barrel.
