BERETTA 1935 Description

7.65mm cal., otherwise similar to the Model 1934, 3 1/2 in. barrel, fixed sights, blue plastic grips, the wartime model had poor finish, a small number had an experimental slide safety in ser. no. range 500XXX, military issue was often parkerized. 525,000 mfg. 1935-1967.

Deluxe post-war commercial pistols were engraved, gold plated, and cased with a spare mag. and cleaning brush.
There are five military groupings on this model. Add 100%. They include: Group I (mfg. for the German Army and Mussolini government in Italy during 1943-44, with ser. no. range 500000-509000), Group II (ser. no. range 509000-525000), Group III (sold to the German Army and Imperial Japanese Army, ser. no. range 525000-534000, control stamp is 4 UT), Group IV (mfg. 1944-45, ser. no. range 534000-599000, control stamp is 4 UT), and Group V (mfg. Feb. to April of 1945, ser. no. range 599000-616000).
