9mm Para. cal., competition model with 6 in. barrel, detent adj. rear sight, rubber wraparound grips, front counterweight, improved barrel bushing, decreased trigger pull, either BAC or FN marked, this model was not cataloged, approx. 36 1/2 oz.
The original GP Competition came in a black plastic case w/accessories, is BAC marked, and more desirable than later FN marked importation that came in a styrofoam box. FN model was never offered for sale by BAC in the U.S. and is not serviced by Browning.
