.38 RF and CF cal., 4 1/2, 5 1/2, or 6 1/2 in. barrels produced as a cartridge component without rammer slots and lug cutouts inherent to a percussion barrel, much shorter lug area than similar model converted from percussion barrel, no slots or loading cutouts on barrel, with ejector housing and Pocket Navy rebated cylinder, only unnumbered and single digit serial numbers have been observed, very scarce.
