COLT COLTEER Description

.22 LR cal., 19 3/8 in. barrel, 15 shot mag., aluminum alloy painted receiver, no engraving, plain walnut stock. Over 25,000 mfg. 1965-mid 1970s.

This model has a soft aluminum alloy painted receiver, which was very easily scratched and is common to find these guns in 80 to 85% condition with very little market interest. It is also common to find these guns with the receiver repainted. On models that have the band around the barrel and forearm, it is common to see the wood and finish scratched where the band was slid forward.
