very rare and seldom found with any original finish, .44 S&W American and .45 Colt calibers, 7 ½ in. barrel, blue and case hardened finish, one-piece varnished wood grips, distinctive rear sight situated one-half inch in front of the hammer notch which gives the impression that the topstrap has been "pinched." Mfg. 1873.
