THE VICTOR (SLANT GRIP) Description
.22 LR cal., 10 shot mag. 4 1/2 in. or 5 1/2 in. slab sided barrels with either ventilated or solid ribs, adj. sights are integral with the rib, blue finish, barrel tapped for weight, checkered walnut thumb rest grips, grooved front and back straps on frame, trigger is adj. for both pull force and over travel, probably 600 of these slant grip Victors were mfg. in all configurations, and probably fewer than 40 each of the 4 1/2 in. guns. Most guns are in the ser. no. range above 2,401,860 to 2,460,614, with a possible few in the ML serial number series. All but a few of the just over 200 guns produced in 1974 were exported, making finding one in the U.S. more difficult.

Note the early vent. rib. barrels were steel, and the later ones were aluminum - w/o a change in the catalog numbers. Buyer beware - fakes exist.
