12, 16, 20, or 28 ga., boxlock action, case hardened receiver with hunting dog etched on left side, 26, 28, or 30 in. blued barrels and lug forged as one-piece and joined together, hand checkered American black walnut stock and forend with pistol grip cap, plain extractor model has slim forend, D&E fastener, hard rubber buttplate, automatic safety, DT, some seen with Canadian markings, most likely mfg. by Cooey, approx. 7 3/4 lbs. Mfg. 1924-circa 1935.
A special run of this model was manufactured in the 1930s for Montgomery Wards and marked "Western Field Model 53".
