.30-30 Win. cal., 20 in. barrel, promotional Glenfield model with birch stock and pressed checkering. Mfg. 1964-83.
This model was originally introduced as the Model 36G Glenfield in 1964. In 1966, it became the Model 30 Glenfield with no changes made to the gun. In 1971, it became the Model 30A with a full-length 6-shot magazine. In 1983, they introduced a cross-bolt safety and it became the Model 30AS. They also stopped using the Glenfield name in 1983 making it a Marlin Model 30AS.
