.44 centerfire cal., resembles 1890 SA, has "E. Remington & Sons" barrel address, 5 3/4 in. barrel, nickel finish with walnut grips, very desirable and little known.
This model was never listed in a Remington catalog nor price list. Rather, it first appeared in a Hartley & Graham ad in late 1888. This revolver was made from parts of Models 1875 & 1890 pistols. Model nomenclature was created by collectors, not the factory.
