6mm Rem. (disc. 1984), .243 Win. (disc. 2015), .270 Win., .280 Rem. (mfg. 1988-2000), .30-06, .308 Win., or .35 Whelen (mfg. 1988-96) cal., modified 760 action, 22 in. barrel, 4 shot detachable mag., pressed checkered (disc.) or Monte Carlo pistol grip stock and forearm with satin or Hi-Gloss (disc. 2015) finish, 7 1/2 lbs. Mfg. 1981-2020.
In addition, walnut stocked rifles in .35 Whelen and carbines in .35 Rem. cal. were offered.
Beginning in 1990, a high gloss wood finish became available in cals. .270 Win. and .30-06 (Model 7600 High Gloss). From 1996-2003 receiver panels have fine line rolled game scene engraving.
A Pennsylvania distributor, Grice Wholesale, has offered a wide variety of special order, non-cataloged Model 7600s since 1990. The initial 1990 order was for 500 Model 7600s in 7mm-08 cal., followed by 1,000 7mm-08 cal. 175th Anniversary roll marked rifles in 1991. In 1992, the Deer Hunter Special, with a roll marked, gold filled deer scene was offered. This model was repeated in 1993 with a cabin and game scene engraving - 500 in .270 Win., 500 in .30-06, and 1,000 in 7mm-08 cal. were offered each year.
Over the years, Grice has also offered non-cataloged calibers such as 6mm Rem., .257 Roberts, .25-06 Rem., .260 Rem., .35 Rem. and .35 Whelen. Black and brown laminate stocks have also been offered.
The 2005 special orders were Model 7600s with maple stocks in 6mm Rem., .25-06 Rem., and 7mm-08 cal. 500 rifles were offered in .30-06 with a special roll marking commemorating the 100th anniversary of the .30-06, also with maple stocks.
In late 2006, Grice offered several Model 7600s with black laminated stocks - 7mm-08 cal., .30-06 cal. with a laser engraved "ONE OF 250 .30-06 100TH ANNIVERSARY 1906-2006" logo on the buttstock, and a Model 7615 in .223 Rem. cal. with a 22 in. barrel. Additionally, 300 walnut stocked Model 7600s in .300 Sav. cal. were also offered.
The 2007 Grice Special Run was in .280 Rem. with commemorative roll markings on the receiver and laser engraved "One of 500 280 Rem 50th Anniversary 1957 - 2007" on the high gloss finish walnut stock.
