.69 cal., lockplate "ROBBINS/KENDALL &/LAWRENCE/U.S." ahead of hammer, and "WINDSOR VT/date" vertically marked at tail and manufactured circa 1845-1848, single shot muzzleloader, 42 in. barrel marked "V", "P", and eagle's head with date at breech, long range rear sight, brass mountings, bright finish, blued screws, browned barrel, case colored lock, walnut stock, patchbox on right side of butt, steel ramrod, trumpeted head with brass tip. Mfg. circa 1845-1848.
