(5 shot - mfg. 1991-2000), or .357 Mag. (5 shot - new 1991) cal., 2 1/4, 3 1/16, 4 (mfg. 1990-2007), or 4.2 (new 2012) in. barrel, small frame variation of the GP-100 Stainless, fiber optic (new 2012) or black ramp front sight, fixed or adj. rear (new 1996) sights, cushioned rubber grips with black plastic or engraved hardwood insert (new 2012), satin stainless finish, 25-34 oz. The .327 Federal caliber configuration will also shoot .32 H&R Mag., .32 S&W, and .32 S&W Long cartridges.

SP-101 barrel lengths are as follows: .22 cal. is available in 2 1/4 or 4 in. standard or heavy barrel, .32 H&R is available in 3 1/16 or 4 (mfg. 1994-2008) in. heavy barrel, .38 Spl. is available in 2 1/4 or 3 1/16 in. length only, 9mm Para. is available in 2 1/4 (mfg. 1989-2000) or 3 1/16 in. (mfg. 1989-2000) length only, and .357 Mag. is available in 2 1/4 or 3 1/16 in. length only.
