On January 19, 2017, the U.S. Army announced it had selected the P320 to replace the Beretta M9 service pistol. The P320 is the first modular pistol with interchangeable grip modules that can also be adjusted in frame size by the operator. Both full size and compact 320s will be delivered to the Army over a period of 10 years.
