high-polish commercial blue finish, solid frame with 6 row ventilated handguard for bayonet attachment, walnut high comb stock with hard rubber buttplate (no cartouches in stock). Guns used by the U.S. Army for trench warfare in WWI, most have "U.S." and ordnance "flaming bomb" hand stamped on the right side of the receiver above ejection port.
