.22 LR cal., DA/SA, 3/4 scale of the P99, 3.42 in. barrel, hammer fired, black polymer frame with grooved and stippled grip, matte black finish, military green frame or nickel slide, or brushed chrome slide and anthracite frame finish (disc. 2010), internal trigger lock with loaded chamber indicator and mag. disconnect, 10 shot mag., firing pin drop safety, safety key lock on right side of frame, interchangeable backstrap, adj. rear (disc.) or 3-dot sights, 15.2 oz. Mfg. 2001-2017, reintroduced in Angel Blue finish only 2019-2020.
Walther offered a limited P22 first edition which included two barrels, stabilizer assembly/frame extension for 5 in. barrel, and a blue plastic case. These were marked "Limited Edition P22" and 1,000 were mfg. Current value for a mint gun with all accessories is in the $400-$450 range.
A special edition two barrel set of this model was available exclusively through Davidson's during 2006 - MSR was $370.
