"Crown N" proof until 1939, "Eagle N" Nazi commercial proof until 1945. Approx. serialization 750,000 (1929) - 1,000,000 (combined with PPK, late 1930s), then PP was assigned its own ser. no. range beginning at 100,000P, and by 1945, serialization had reached approx. 396,000P.
