.45-70 Govt. cal., 26 in. octagon barrel. Mfg. 1997-1998.
This model was originally manufactured in Japan w/o a top tang safety. However, once these guns were imported, the BATF decided not to approve the configuration unless the guns were shipped back to Japan for a top tang safety update.
