The large majority of this variation are encountered in .30-30 Win. cal. with 15 in. barrel. Any other caliber or barrel length will create a premium. Most of these carbines are brown and rusty. Rarely, if ever, encountered with very much finish remaining.
Note: Check federal laws on legality of 14 and 15 in. barrels. Winchester never used the term "Trapper" carbine.
