BURGESS GUN CO.

Andrew Burgess was a prolific firearms designer who held many firearms patents and designed guns for Colt, Marlin, and Whitney before forming The Burgess Gun Co. Burgess manufactured slide action rifles and shotguns of a unique design that incorporated an iron sleeve fitted over the wrist portion of the stock which operated the action.
Manufacturer located in Buffalo, NY, circa 1892-1899.
