.30-30 Win., .30-40 Burgess, or .44-40 WCF cals., slide action which features a blue steel cocking sleeve with checkered hard rubber pistol grip which fits over the wrist of the buttstock and slides rearward to activate the bolt and breech mechanism, receiver engraved "BURGESS GUN CO./BUFFALO N.Y./U.S.A." in three lines, 24 in. oct. barrel with full magazine tube, blue finish, checkered walnut forearm with blue cap and walnut buttstock with black checkered hard rubber buttplate which has "BURGESS/GUNCO" logo in a circle. Mfg. circa 1896-1899. RF=3.
