COLT 22 FIRST EDITION Description

.22 LR cal., 4 1/2 in. VR barrel, stainless steel or black anodized stainless steel, 10 shot mag., one-piece black Pachmary rubber grips, 33 1/2 oz. Mfg. 1994 only.

An early version of the COLT 22 was called the "First Edition" Colt 22. It was available with either stainless steel or black hard chromed barrel. Marked First Edition 22 on slide. All had low serial numbers and could be ordered as matching serial number cased pairs, for example "00005PH" and "PH00005". A very small number were Colt Custom Shop engraved.
